Takamaka rum is an excellent example of a strong drink produced on the island of Mahe, which is part of the Seychelles.
The manufacturer is the company Trois Frères Distillery, which is located in the village of La Plaine St André and is famous for healing herbs, unique plants and high quality cane.
Trois Freres Distillery was established in 2002 by the brothers Richard and Bernard d'Offey. The plant specializes exclusively in the production of unique varieties of rum, which are exported to many countries around the world. In the Seychelles, rum has a special taste and aroma, because it is ennobled by the scent of a local tree called takamaka. Hence the name of the Seychelles rum. The company's products are exported to Europe, UAE, China, Mauritius, Madagascar, Maldives, South Africa, and now you can buy rum Takamaka in Ukraine.

For the needs of the plant it is grown farms. Nowhere else does such a reed grow. After all, the Seychelles is an unprecedented place with pristine nature, rich flora and unique conditions for growing cane. Flowering trees do not stop throughout the year, there is no exhausting heat, the heavenly weather allows you to grow delicious fruit, as well as sugar cane with a unique set of aromatic substances that give the cane juice a special unique flavor.
Immediately after harvest, its stems are crushed, squeezed out juice and left to ferment at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats. The process lasts 4-5 days, after which the mash is distilled three times in copper cubes. Extract of rum alcohol is carried out in wooden barrels of American and French oak. Rum Takamaka is blended with natural mineral water from mountain sources, which is directly supplied from environmentally friendly mountain areas.
In the line of the brand presented rum with different levels of strength - from 40% to 69%. The collection includes varieties with different aging times - from 2 to 8 years. Takamaka rum is white, gold and dark. The trademark business card is Rum Takamaka Spiced, to which is added a composition of natural spices. This drink has a multifaceted, expressive bouquet with a predominance of shades of vanilla and caramel.
