On the nose, the wine is refined, with clear notes of spice, rose, black cherry, plum, and sweet red fruits, all wrapped in an earthiness that lends a surprising rustic touch.
Taste:
On the palate, the aromatics follow through with layered spice, white pepper, dark cherry and black berry, framed by youthful tannins. The finish is long and the texture has real depth. I expect the wine to age for 10-12 years or more
Food Matching:
The wine will be good company venison, red meat. It can be served with grilled vegetables and stews, as well as combined with seasoned cheeses.
